Does anyone know if the David Ignatius referenced in the article is the same one who was involved in the incident at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, CU portrayed in the movie "A Few Good Men" and involved in the issue where Bush fired some US attorneys?

If so, then he's just another misguided liberal lawyer seeking to subjugate the public and reduce their personal safety.

As an aside, I was the Fleet Training Group weapons officer when that incident occured. The movie overdramatized the event. The victim was a slacker as the movie portrayed but he suffered nothing more than some bruises and a sore throat from having a sock stuffed into it. Don

I hate to burst Begala's bubble but those "formerly Republican leaning white surburbanites" have LEFT Westchester County. They've either moved South to places like NC,SC and Florida or moved further north in NY State. How do I know? I'm one of them. I used to live in Westchester, saw the handwriting on the wall, and moved north. Moving into Westchester are the rich limousine liberal elites and the illegals who service their lawns, build their stone walls and watch their children while they go shopping at Tiffanys.

My Brother, who I am sorry to say, is very liberal, lived in Chappaqua NY (Westchester County) in the 70s. I visited him a few times; his neighbors seemed all to be at least as liberal as he back then. As we know it is the nominal home of the Clintons.
I counted it as being like California, a great place except for most of the people.
