Hi, I'm not sure I care for the grips that come on the 929, I am thinking about trying a set of conversion's (RB to SB).
I shoot better with the larger grips like on my 28.
Anyone know of a conversion grip that will put me close to the grips that came on my 28?

Thanks for any help

It would help to know what grips came on your 28 - they usually came from the factory with Magnas.

These are from Eagle. Please note that these have the extractor relief cut. They specify they won't work wit speed loaders, I don't know how you'll fare with 9mm in moon clips - there may be enough clearance...

Here are Altamonts offerings (scroll down for N-frame RB). Less expensive than the Eagles, not quite as true to form as the original S&W targets. These are thinner at the top of the left hand panel and will probably work better with moon clips...

Altamont Company - Smith & Wesson

I've always preferred Hogues. They now make hundreds of variations - materials, configuration (finger grooves, no finger grooves, single finger grooves), texture etc, etc. Here are their N-frame RB to SB conversion grips...

Hogue Inc.

That should give you something to chew on for a while.

Adios,

Pizza Bob

PS: BTW, you need to get a BMT tool for that bad boy - you can thank me later.
