This was posted on Facebook today. Not sure if it works but if it does, and everyone finds out, it will be another thoughtful tip brought to you by the me me me generation.

I have wondered, more than once, why elevators have bypassed my floor without stopping. . . . If this is the reason, it is more than inconsiderate.

Well thanks for providing one more lesson to those of us that still need lessons on how to be inconsiderate. No doubt half those that read this thread will go right out and try it. LOL

Not me though. I have not been in an elevator in over 10 years and I have no intention of getting into one in the near future.

I do this every day at work, when I get on at the lobby and head up top to the office. :) The building engineer showed me how to do it, so I took that as license.

I always take the stairs.

One time it took me five days to reach the top, stopping on several floors to get a vending machine snack, have a Coke and go to the bathroom.

Been doing it for 20 years, ever since my 70th birthday.

There aint any buildings here that are high enough that I go into to worry about elevators. :D I think the tallest "Skyscraper" we have here is about 10 floors??

Most buildings that I go in are High Rise Condos. Once you're past the lobby going up you hardly ever get another passenger.

Going down they stop at every floor. By the time you get to the lobby its crowded and you can't breathe from all of the perfume. I swear, They each put a gallon on just before walking out the door.

I could never live in one of those condos no matter how nice the view is.

This elevator trick sounds like it will appeal to those who like to park in handicap parking spots and the like. :(

Most folks these days do not need lessons on how to be inconsiderate... or downright rude. :(

Hey what's wrong with parking in the HC space. Oh that's right I'm HC.

Don't try jumping up and down on the elevator. It can get stuck between floors for about 20 minuets:eek:. Don't ask how I know. Wife still hits me when I start. Shame on her hitting a old HC person when she is so much younger..

And one more note in the ol' inconsiderate notebook. Keepém coming.
