how to reassemble 908

I have a 908 purchased in July 2008 new;shot it 300 rounds right off to acquaint myself and had no problems. Have been carrying it daily and decided to shoot it last weekend. EVERY bullet jammed--Winchester target loads. After 20 rounds, decided it needed to be cleaned. . . I got it apart, cleaned alot of fouling and debris and now I cannot get it back together. When I put it on the rails it only goes back to about halfway--I have been putting the plastic spring device in the notch and trying to assemble it upside down. What am I doing wrong?

I am not sure what exactly you are describing, but I think if you tunr it over you will see some pieces in the frame just behind the magazine well that have to be pushed down. Also if you bought it new, it should have come with an owners manual that will have instructions.

Thanks--I went back and read the manual again and I realized where you put the spring and guide rod(under the barrel lug) and I got it put together. I appreciate your reply.
