How to remove cylinder gap blast shield from AirLite?

I just picked up a used 325TR and the little, stainless flame-cutting guard is a little bent on one side, probably from getting a brush bristle caught under it. How can I remove it to straighten in out and reinstall?

The barrel must be removed. If it has a 2-piece barrel it needs to go back to the factory.

I called S&W and they're gonna send me return shipping. Not sure if that's just a label or a box. Either way, it's gonna go back to the factory.
