Not being in the logging industry, I had no idea what a Ponsse Forwarder was, but I doubt this was part of the design spec.

Here is another good way to use a Ponsse Forwarder

(I don't do Facebook but this is a public link.)

A still from the vid:

I really cringed when they grabbed him/her [emoji33]
I wish I could get my 91 yr old ma off of facebook and another site she frequents lol
She will get going on about something and I’ll be thinking what is she talking about?
Aaaand then the light comes on [emoji38]

That moose was likely pretty exhausted. The operator showed a lot of skill in manipulating a machine not intended for such a delicate operation. Reminded me of some YooToob vids of excavator operators stacking beer bottles with remarkable finesse.

The iPad has been a boon for my gf's mum. She's a retired academic (History of science). My gf "curates" her FB account to keep her out of trouble (!) It's been useful for her and she doesn't send us incomprehensible stuff. Most of the FB links she does send I can't read anyway.

OTOH, I won't touch social media "with a 10' pole or any other Eastern European" (as my gf likes to say. ) I am quite capable of wasting enough time without it and worrying about security issues.

"Different strokes for different folks", though. FB enbled my gf to get in touch with old musical colleagues from her previous life as a musician in Holland and she uses it and Instagram for her (slightly paid) hobby of creative artwork.

Social media and the elderly can be a handful, lol
Her boyfriend passed away recently and that guy, when e-mail was new , gobbled up every conpiricy theory his friends sent him. It was exhausting!
I was married to a 5’ pole for about 30 years 😆

The guy that cut our timber was incredible with the loader,,

He would pick up pieces of bark, and toss them on a pile,,

He built this corduroy road, totally with only using a skidder,, zero hand effort.

He never got out of the machines cab!!
The corduroy road is still just like the day he built it, 7 years ago.

This is how he unloaded the bridge from the trailer.
