How do you carrying Loaded Moon Clips to the range

Anyone have any good thoughts, gadgets, devices, cases or homemade ways of transporting a bunch of loaded moon clips to the range? Pictures appreciated

High tech 1 quart Ziplock freezer bags. Sorry I don't have a picture.

The Dillon Border Shift Ammo bag, for up to a couple of dozen loaders. More than that, various sizes of cardboard or plastic box. the loaders are not particular.

I generally put them in the box with the extra ammo.
Moon clips on top, reloads loose in the bottom.
Or throw them in the range bag with the ears and other stuff I take along.
At matches I stuff as many as I think I'll need in my pockets. I clank walking up to the line but that's OK.

Not for sure where its at but search for moon clips and you will see some great ideas and pics that show how others transport the loaded clips and guns to the range. The ideas are great and easy to make.

Not loaded, but this is how I carry mine. Never seen the reason to load before hand. Holds about 60.

My solution is pretty low tech, there's a Crown Royal bag in my safe full of loaded moon clips. I just throw it in the range bag along with the 625...

What do you use to transport and store many loaded moon clips to the range? Pictures appreciated

Some people have made holders which use wooden dowels mounted onto a piece of wood. I use a plastic box designed for fishing lures. Cannot send a photo as I will be away from home for another month.

I found that 8 fully loaded clips for my 610 will fit right into a 50 round box for the 40 caliber Federal Champion, so that's how I carry them to the range and back home.

I put them in a draw string bag made from an old bluejeans leg and place that in my range bag. Been doing it for many years, both .45 and .38/.357 moons. Never a bent clip and I don't exactly handle the range bag with kid gloves...

Cigar boxes.
First one holds 25 loaded .45 moon clips. (150 rounds)
Second one holds 20. (120 Rounds)

I'm a newbie at the Moon Clip game, so these are works in progress. ;)
I'll probably line them with felt to keep the bullets from rubbing against wood or paper.
Most likely, I'll use cigar boxes to store loaded clips at the house and build something in an ammo box for transporting my 625JM and ammo to the range.

Back in the day my buddy and I both had 625's.We made a board to fit in a ammo can.Drilled holes for dowel rods and glued them to the board.Space them out so you can two or three wide to fit the can.Stack your loaded moonies up and away you go.If I remember right it was a 30 cal box.three dowels wide and 7 long.Held a bunch of them.I had fifty moonies in mine.Wish I still had that gun.Slow

Tupperware or similar plastic tubs. Round works best as it conforms to the curvature of the moonclips with minimum wasted corner space.

Like said above, Tupperware makes fairly flat plastic cases that will fit in a range bag. I like the idea JohnnieB suggested reusing empty cigar boxes. Not bad at all...
