Former 14 Year US Marine GySgt VV,
( just wasn't any fun, anymore!)
Retired Federal LEO
(challenging until the End)
Always had a Winchester Pump 12g
(just something about the sound when chambering, peaceful and telling for the one doing the chambering, unsettling for the other one)
First CCW Permit, 1st Privately owned Handguns, ever!
(just something about racking a 9mm)
All the training in the world just won't let me carry without a thumb safety. Can't get rid of that training Brain gap.
So, the Shield 9 Plus without safety is mounted on a magnet holder, locked and loaded next to the bed.
The Shield 9 EZ with Thumb Safety and Safety Grip is EDC. Just simply peace of mind. I know where the safety is, it releases as it's unholstered.
Haven't shared this much public info in 74 years. Lived a sheltered life, must be getting old, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Probably more info than anyone wanted or needed.
Anyway, learned years and years ago, Ain't any of us getting outta this World Alive!
Greetings from the Volunteer State,
Davy sends his regards, and says "Remember The Alamo"
