...How's Your Fall Weather Going?...

Raining today but has been Warm and DRY .. 5 inches behind in moisture just since the 1st of August ..

ground receding around foundations could cause basement flooding when it does finally rain .. 3-4 inch wide cracks in the ground !!

Between the beetles we had bad this Spring and now the dry weather many trees are showing stress and have dropped leaves with out a color change .. some will die out this winter if we continue to have the dry weather or if its colder then normal this winter !!

It's been and muggy for the last few days and I've been enjoying it.
It is supposed to get down into the 60's and 70's next week.
We'll be getting the bikes out more often.

With the Autumn leaves turning, the mountains are covered with brilliant colors.
I'm planning on a Fall Foliage Hike or Bike maybe both video before too long.

We've had unusually cool weather for a couple weeks now. That and a good bit of rain. I actually had mushrooms in the lawn until I mowed them down this morning. That doesn't happen often here. We have had a few days in the 90s, but many in the 70s and lower 80s. Today was the coolest yet. Low about 45. High about 65. I had to wear gloves this morning while mowing the grass. My fingers were "freezing."

It's warming back up to normal, though. Forecast calls for near 80 tomorrow and 90 by the weekend.

Temperature swings of thirty or forty degrees in a day are pretty common here. It's not at all unusual to wake up to temperatures around 32 degrees and have it hit 65 or 70 degrees in the afternoon.

...three weeks into Fall..and we have had a total of 20 inches of snow and temperatures down to 22 degrees...too early for all this...

Planted grass seed Sunday in the GF's yard where the grubs killed it. Rode the bicycle today. Jealous of the snow. My snowshoes and XC skis are lonely.

It's been pretty darn nice up here in southern New England... near perfect fall weather... which has just about been killing me. Why? Because we still don't have a building permit for our retirement place, now closing in on one full year behind schedule. :o It's killing us. :o

Fall weather? you mean around 80 degrees on Monday and a Tuesday high of around 60 degrees here in Oklahoma, then yeah normal fall weather. I don't plan ahead much on the forecast, just walk outside and decide if i need a jacket or not.
