I'm new to the forum, but I'm sort of surprised by the number of posts / replies disparaging some S&W models. That said, after firing about 1000 rounds of ammunition from a variety of manufactures and everything from 155 to 180 grains without a single incident I couldn't be happier with my M&P 40c! Thing is as reliable as they come! Now if you forced me to find one thing to quibble about, I'd have to admit the trigger leaves something to be desired when compared to say it's Sig counterparts. But I understand Apex might be able to overcome some of that disparity. ...

Welcome to the forum. Nice for a change to hear about a new S&W the the owner really likes. In the past two-3 years I have picked up 2 M&P .45s, 2 Shield 9s, a .22 and a 442. Nothing to complain about in any.

I did do the Apex Carry kits for the .45s and swapped out the rear sights, but that is all personal preference vice a failure or quality issue.

Shoot well and stay safe.

I love my 40c as well. I added an Apex trigger group and Ameriglo night sights. Just feels right.

Welcome

Welcome to the Forum.
My .40c was the one that got me hooked on M&Ps. I put the Apex FSS kit in and that made me like it even more.

Best of continued luck with yours.

Hi am new to the forum and just picked up a m&p 40c and love it just trying to find a good cc holster for the small of my back any suggestions

um83canes, welcome to the forum and I agree S&W has done a good job. My 40c has 700 flawless rounds. It's as accurate at self defense distances as my 40 Pro 5" barrel which has over 3,000 flawless rounds.

Jase, not a small of the back holster, but the 40c disappears in a Galco King Tuk IWB at 4 o'clock and is all day comfortable.
