I’ve had AT&T internet and TV service (U-Verse) for around 15 years. I cannot complain about anything except the cost. But even so, it is not that much more than other services. And I can afford the difference. The dividends from my AT&T stock more than covers it.I had it for a while. It was better than dial up, but not much. It had no service in bad weather. Then AT&T came down our road. It was great at first but then they put too many people on it and jacked the price up, constantly screwed up the billing, and sent what little customer service they had to somewhere that didn't understand English and didn't care. I think their CS people moonlighted as scammers at night. Finally our local power co-operative put it something that actually works for a decent price. I've been on this one for two years. I don't know what their CS is like because I haven't had to call them. I dumped everything AT&T, including phones. I'll never go near them again.
I'll second this. But you do need to be in area that T-Mobile has expanded their 5G internet coverage to. (You can check here: T-Mobile Internet | Reliable 5G Home Internet Service)If you have T Mobile in your area the internet works great.
I remember the first "high speed" modem I bought... 1200 baud!I doubt if anyone under 35 has any idea what we had to go through back then.
