Chuckle for the day....hopefully? :)

Well, another year has passed, and of course with the coming of the new year, are the New Year's Eve bashes which I never take part in and I am asleep long before the ball drops in Times Square. " Hey, Be Careful Out There " , lots of danger tonight on the roads.

I find myself in less than a humorous mood after yesterday's news. Seems that Special K ( Kathy ) has developed no less than 3 identifiable types of infections. One being in her blood. She has been assigned a team of 4 doctors to work on this problem. Information is spotty at this point about the treatment for these infections, but it could mean many months of antibiotics through a portal. The lab results from her biopsies are not back yet. So there is no info on how this would effect Chemo treatment if needed. There is also no idea where she contracted these infections. She has had 7 procedures between 2 hospitals. This is starting to get overwhelming.

OK, now on with the prime directive as Capt. Kirk would say

Having spent about 6 weeks with a drug catheter y'all have my deepest sympathies and best wishes.

Also, #1! My shepherd was real close to catching a squirrel the other day, but I think he suddenly wondered if catching it was a good idea. It went up & down a tree and then ran right between me and the wife's corgi enroute to another tree. The corgi apparently decided that the pretty big squirrel wasn't something she wanted to tackle and ignored it.
