And as to grocery stores and extra baskets, they should have auto-calculating baskets that add up your purchases as you go and warn you when you've put in more than you can afford.

Somewhere on the Web is a supposedly true text exchange where an English girl texted her mother to say that her husband's uncle had died. Mum texted back, "Oh no, lol". Daughter went into what the heck mode. Turned out mother thought "lol" meant "lots of love".
