I almost bought a Shield

I've been looking for one ever since the frenzy began. Anyway, I walk into one of my regularly visited pawn shops and low and behold they actually had one in the case. I actually had it in my hand with my other hand on my wallet!! Unfortunately, on the way to the case that held the Shield, I spotted this in the other case. Well, as it turns out, I didn't have enough for both and figured there'd be more Shields so decided to get this one instead. Do you think I made the right choice? 36 ND, serial #2836xx, which I believe puts it in 1961. Every once in a while this shop comes through for me!

Did you make a mistake by choosing that beautiful flat latch J frame over a Shield??? Absolutely not.If you decide you did, send me a PM. I'd love own that 36.

Nice looking gun. I still want a shield and will get one as soon as I get back in my home state. Can't buy one on the road.
