The latest news is that Jordan executed two Al Qaeda prisoners in retaliation. At least the Jordanian reaction was swift and deadly ... as opposed to trading five terrorists straight up for a military deserter, all of whom are reported to be back in the battle against the West.

Though these savages claim different group affiliations, they're all the same and should be summarily destroyed upon being wrung dry of useful information. Unfortunately, some people in global leadership positions adamantly refuse to call the proverbial spade a spade, and believe that such terrorist organizations are merely a ragtag bunch of radicals.

I distinctly remember watching footage of an ISIS convoy of vehicles rolling forth across the desert ... this was before the group gained a stronghold in the area ... and wondering why there was not a quick strike against the entire procession. A few fighters could have laid waste to the entire wagon train in minutes.

In fact, as William intimates, it is exactly human to do these things. Also-Jordan is also a Christian country as well-I was not aware that the Jordanian pilot was a Muslim, or maybe that was just an assumption by the poster (?) And lastly, this is about getting us to commit ground troops, they have read the viet cong/nva book on Viet Nam. JMO. Flapjack.

Face it, the Crusades never ended - for them.

Hey isis... over here... I got something for ya...

In 1944, with the end of WW2 in sight, and an Allied victory almost certain, FDR and his advisers met to discuss the subject of war crimes. What would we, what could we, do with the leaders of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan, who had caused so much misery and the deaths of millions?

The answer was to create the concept, in international law, of waging an unjust war, and to declare, among other things, that the cruel treatment or extermination of helpless civilians or POWs is a war crime that will be punished. And of course, we put those principles to work at Nuremberg and in Japan, where we tried and executed a number of Axis officials.

Now, today, ISIS is violating those long-established principles of international law. They have invaded an area (a war crime in and of itself) and executed countless unarmed, defenseless civilians. And yet the United Nations, which rose from the ashes of WW2, is unwilling to do anything about it...how sad! :(

I will not watch the video, as Bret said you can't un-watch it and I have seen enough bad things already to keep me awake...

I saw enough burned bodies in my 30 year career to last a lifetime, and I really don't care to see another one. Plus, I don't need to see that young man's agonizing last moments in order to know how monstrous his killers are...

I hope and pray that somehow, someway, justice will be meted out to them... :(

According to the news this morning, Jordan has responded.
