I have a 30-06 I bolt and the firing pin is not striking the primer hard enough it just barely puts a dent in primer how do I take the bolt apart and inspect and clean any help is greatly appreciated

What is an I bolt? is this a S&W gun? Photos will produce a lot better response to your problem.

I bolts made prior to 2008 were recalled for problems with the bolt. Maybe drop S&W a line to inquire about yours. Good luck!
