I Can’t Help It……….3 Stooges

I love the Stooges. My wife, not so much.

In 1986 I won 5 pounds of Starbucks coffee beans by being the first one to call in the correct answer to a Stooges trivia question on the local rock radio station.

The question: How many Stooges have their actually been?

The answer: Five - Moe, Larry, Curly, Curly Joe, and Shemp.

My daughter is now in her 30s and has loved the Stooges since she was little. It took 42 years, but my wife now loves them. When I explain something about a short or one of the characters, she refers to it as her "Stoogeagation"

The Stooges are a guy thing. My wife and daughters cringe when I watch the boys.

You forgot Joe Besser. Give me the coffee.

I'll split it with you...Toward the end Emil Sitka nearly filled in for Larry Fine in an upcoming (but never finished) movie...He did however play many parts in many of their two-reelers...And he did fill in for Larry in some of their road show productions...So he gets half credit as a Stooge, and I get half the coffee......Ben

He was in so many shorts that they called him "The Fourth Stooge."

Here is a picture with Curly-Joe De Rita, Moe Howard, and Emil Sitka. More looks SO OLD!

I used to watch the Stooges reruns a lot, they made me laugh. Don’t see them anymore my tv programming must have changed. The high society lunch party when they were plumbers, the Dewey, Cheetum, and Howe law firm, the haunted house, very funny stuff. “Hey tootz nice gams”

How about now? What’s funny is on my computer, not only do I see the image in my post, but in your post too!🤪

Thanks! I can see it now!
I think that you originally inserted it as a link to a file on your computer. To see it we'd all need to have to have remote access to your computer's hard drive. Obviously we don't have that access - but you could still see it because you do.

Now that it has been uploaded to the forum everyone with access to the forum can see it.

Anyway, I spent untold hours watching re-runs of the Stooges in elementary school. I recognize Moe in the middle, and Curly Joe on the left, but I don't recognize the guy on the right.

What was his character's name?

A buddy and I went to see a third friend who had just had a hernia operation. We were all around 20-21 years old. We took a Stooges movie with us. Didn't get to see the end because our friend was in serious pain from laughing and begged us to turn it off.

Good memories.

That’s Emil Sitka that Truckman was talking about in post #28.
