well....i went to my local gun dealer today to pick up a very nice 27-2 that i had put on layaway...the owner goes in the back to get the 27-2...but...he also brings out a beautiful 24-3 4" 44 special...gulp....price tag of $750.00...i get him down to $650.00 and i caved in...the gun appears to have been fired..but very little...seems to be that is is a somewhat scarce gun at least to the extent that they aren't on every dealers shelf and again..remarkable condition....looks like i'll have a date next week to again try to pick up the 27-2!

Last year I bought a "new" m15-4, nickle snubby. A couple of months later, I figured it was too nice to shoot, so I bought an identical gun with a little nickle flaking off the cylinder.

Now, I have one for looking at and one for shooting.
