Went to see Django this afternoon.
typical Tarentino-way over the top escapist nonsense. Wayyyyy too much gratuitous violence and gore and yes, I know Jaime Foxx don't like white folks....
I rank this one as better than Pulp Fiction. Casting and acting are superb. Christolph Waltz is absolutely magnificent and steals just about every scene he is in. Don Johnson is Great as Big Daddy. Samuel L. Jackson is great. And Leonardo DeCaprio is a magnificent villian. The guns are great! there are cap and ball revolvers that go click after 5 shots. And the Henry's - my oh my!!! Don Johnson has a Henry Golden Boy in .44-40. This movie is a great romp!! It was over quickly and so I was surprised that when I looked at my watch it was close to three hours
Tarentino fans-you WILL NOT be disapointed. Trust me on this-I see Christolph Waltz winning another Oscar. His performance was every bit the equal as his portrayal of the Nazi in Inglorious Bast****.
Go see it in the afternoon or the early show. Less people. You don't want to miss any dialogue-it is really very entertaining!.
