On Tuesday (late afternoon's) if I'm not busy I hang out at my friends Automotive Repair Station for a couple of hours because that is the day the Snap-on Guy stops bye. I don't really buy much anymore, but I do enjoy looking and do occasionally buy something.
I was comparing two different Snap-on Ratchet Wrenches my friend has (old vs a new one) and my hands got a little greasy. I walked over to the slop sink and used this new hand cleaner for the first time. It is made by Permatex and is called Grease Grabber. It comes in a 4 pound container, smells like Coconuts, and REALLY REALLY works incredibly well! A little dab goes a loooooong way!
I asked him to get me a 4 lb. tub on his next order (also comes in a 1 lb. version I believe) because as of now it is not sold in local stores. He buys it from his commercial parts supplier and I am looking forward to getting it next week.
I have been using 20 Mule Team Boraxo Powdered Hand Soap for many many years and it cleans very well, but when you need to wash your hands repeatedly all day long, it is not kind to your skin (very abrasive). This new Permatex product not only works incredibly but it does not tear up your skin.
Between working on my guns, cars, motorcycle, equipment, and the amateur inventing I do almost daily my hands are always getting dirty and getting washed many times a day. Mrs. Chief38 hates dirty hand and nails.
Anyone who is looking for a great hand cleaner shold definitely check this product out!!
