I do not believe this

I was talking to a retired police firearms trainer today who said years ago when his department switched from revolvers to semi-autos they threw away hundreds of Tyler T-Grips! They were just so much junk back then!

Moral of the story - Save all old stuff, I reckon. Someday it will be worth something.

You are so right!! Back in the mid 1980s I helped the family of an old friend empty out his gun store after he died. This was back long before ebay and gunbroker. I filled up a 30 yard dumpster with new factory S&W boxes dating back to 20s. Hundreds of wood grips 20-80. Sight screw drivers and many other items that did not sell in South Florida at the time. Looking at prices today not including crazy I could have had several million dollars if I had only known.

Several months ago ,I saw grip adapters for sale from Numbrich 5.95 or so I think, thats all it said grip adapters polished or black. I ordered 2 ,boy was I suprised when the came Tyler's in the box 3-rs, .
I quickly ordered some more of each ,cause I had been holding out to put them on a bunch of guns,I dont like the new ones w/o the logo. When I got them some had like water spots on them and the boxes but they all polished out except a couple were left with light spot ,no big deal to me.Then I put on the forum what they had for sale and they were sold out the next day. Guess I will be taking them back off my guns now, better than gold and best of all. Showed this to the wife and she said "maybe you arent crazy" heck thats worth 200.00. HA!!!
