I encountered some ignorance at the grocery store today!

I must be dyslexic.Every time I see a subaru with the coexist sticker,I read it as canoeist ,followed by ***?!

I open carry half the time.
My clothing logos are not what lets people know that I carry.
I also have a S&W hoodie, a Crusader Weaponry hat and nice long sleeve shirt.
If people dont like my attire they can pound sand.
I have yet to have anyone remark in a less than positive way about my logo clothing.
If they did, I wouldnt care one bit. The things people wear on their clothing now makes any kind of firearms, hunting, shooting relation look like flowers and bunnies.
I have read people remark that wearing logo shirts as well as open carry will make you a target.
As always... show me proof.
I can show LOTS of proof of people not wearing it or open carrying that have bad things happen to them.
Sounds like people need to live life as they want... not for what others think.

I like it!!

Now that is just about the coolest thing I've seen in a long time!!!! I will pay cash money for about 10 of them in bumper-sticker size. A three footer across the back window of my truck would make "ME" happy.

I don't advertize anything. Never did understand why you would advertize something and not get paid. Besides, I don't want to draw unneeded attention to me being armed or what is in my vehicle. I like the philosophy of the British SAS. You don't know who they are or, what they are doing, and they don't make public statements at any time. Yeah, I know some former SAS member may go public to promote a book he wrote or maybe fall off the tracks and go nuts but once they do that - they never get back in and are treated as outcasts - like the press.

You don't let'um know until it's time to let'um know. Besides, I don't like answering questions.

My favorite T shirt is one that reads "Leave me alone or I'll kill you."

My favorite T shirt says this:

I'm an IDIOT
that would argue for days on end
AND get bent out of shape
about what T shirt
other people should wear!
:p

If anyone wants one, I can furnish them in all sizes and multiple colors for $34.95 postpaid.
Please allow 17 weeks for delivery due to overwhelming demand.

Well, got THAT message loud and clear
So ya want us to go back to picking on Walmart greeters infringing on our 4th amendments rights against unreasonable search and seizure when they ask to see our receipts :D

I came up with a new version. Do I have to cut you in?
If so, they're now $42.95, postpaid.
:D

I also want one, but with the full text in white letters on a white shirt.

For obvious reasons......;)

Wow, I'm really suprised at the diversity of opinions on this topic. I thought San Francisco was crazy. Most LEO and mil guys I know have dark demented senses of humor. We wear stuff that might shock most folks. But there is a time and a place for everything. I sport a "Claymore" bumper hitch and a Larue-"God Bless our troops- especially our snipers" on my Suburban. I have a "...hope and change working for you?" bumper sticker on my Acura. I never leave a gun unattended and people tend to stay away from me anyway. It must be my kind sweet disposition. I have more people commenting positively on my choice of attire- usually a 911 tribute shirt or they just stare.

Edited my post in response as it would do nothing constructive. I'm out.

Sorry Bob if my post above upset you - that was not my intent. This is only a discussion and I simply answered your opinion with my own opinion.

Yours did not upset me, rather, on reflection I believed my response might have upset you and there is no reason for me to do that, especially on a Forum where we are all pretty similar in most things.

Edited to add: Of course on those few things where we are dissimilar, I am always right! :p

As far as stickers on the car, and insignia clothing...

I can see either side of why to do it or not. I don't do it simply because I don't like feeling like a billboard with my clothes or auto decals.

Just wanted to chime in...I think there is a bigger danger of putting your kid's name, sport team, school name, and jersey number or instrument on your car's rear window, visible at the same time your license plate is.. than the amount of risk involved in placing a particular brand advertisement or political statement on a bumper sticker, T shirt, or ball cap.

No sir, you did not upset me in any way - just discussion of opinions. Personally, I like to argue an opinion and sometimes I don't know when to quit even though I know the other party is always wrong ;) ! I guess we can agree to disagree on this one.
