I've got a beautiful M&P 9FS in lay-a-way. It fits me well, looks good, and the price isn't bad at all. In my day off travels, I looked at a like new M&P 9C complete with box and all for $425, and a M&P 9 Pro for $519. I could use full size mags in the 9C with a sleeve, and with the right holster, I could carry the Pro. The new FS feels extremely good in my hands, and is only $45 more than the used 9C.

Now I'm second guessing, going over the different scenarios to insure I made the right choice. I'm sure it will pass. :(

Those are good prices! If possible, dump the less desirables in the gun safe and snag them.

You made a decision, now put on your big boy pants and live with that decision.

So you're saying just nut up and do it? ;) Yeah, probably the best thing. That's kinda my first reaction, but the others are so nice and their prices are so good.

All kidding aside the 9FS will no doubt be home soon.

Buy them all I say

That's what I did, although I have a Shield instead of the Pro. Fortunately, Mrs. doesn't give me any gas about my guns. However, if I could only have one, it would be the 9c.

Love my 9c. It was the last of the 3 I bought, FS. Shield then 9c. Will you lose money on the layaway? Is it the same LGS?

With that being said you won't regret the FS. As soft as shooting 9mm you'll find

LOL... I'm just glad most of my hand guns are black. My wife thinks that I keep getting the same one out all of the time:D Guess it's like the 50 shades of red lipstick. I wouldn't know the difference, but she does.

I feel very little difference between the 2 models. You already mentioned the advantages of the C model over the FS.

Forget buyers remorse. Take that gun out and shoot the snot out of it. You did good.

I don't have room for "less desirables" in my safe. First, it's rather small, second, I've already got the wife's Sig, Colt Mustang Plus II, and her two .22s', plus my S&W 28-2, Beretta M9, and Glock 23 in there.

Get the full size 9. Mine was my favorite shooting gun until I got the .40 full sized. I have a 9c that I hardly shoot anymore and my EDC is a Shield .40.

Personally, I think that with the Shield now available, the 9c doesn't really have much of a niche. If I want something easily concealable, I carry the Shield. If I want higher capacity, I carry the full-sized. Can't remember the last time I carried the 9c.

Well, the 9c can take the full size magazines, you can't shoot 17 rds out of a Shield mag. I drop a 9c barrel in my 40c and use my full size mags at the range. It's a nice feature. But I carry it as a 40c.

(I guess I should add that my full size mags are only 10-rounders just in case the DOJ is reading)
