:) I started using lizard litter because I didn't want to pick media out of the flash holes. I then had a problem with red dust on the brass. "Bingo" I thought of a solution. You experienced guy may already do this. What I do is after I separate the media from the brass I put the brass back in the empty tumbler and turn it on. Then I take a used Swiffer Duster and mix it in while the tumbler is running. WaLa the brass is dust free. If you are not using a Swiffer Duster when you clean house you are working to hard. I don't want to hear that you don't clean house because we all know better.:D:D Don

PS Break is over and I have to get back to cleaning house.

I put my tumbled brass back in the tumbler and take it outside, I turn it on and put on a dust mask, use my portable compressor to blow the junk out, works well with the slotted lid on my Lyman 1200 Turbo.

I add a little Nu Finish to the crushed walnuts. It not only makes the brass pretty but keeps the dust down.

My old father in law said it right. He used a square point shovel & a wheelbarrow to clean house. Told me once that when he lived in Nebraska he bought his wife a new pair of gloves and a new axe. That took care of the winters wood supply. But he wasn't a reloader so I think he stretched the truth a mite.

Go to the local welding supply and get walnut blast media. Smaller than the flash holes, no dust and still cheap, cheap.

I use medium coarse walnut before dumping the brass into the Dillon case feeder. The primers ain't removed until after cleaning the brass.

I'm too busy reloading to worry about who cleans the house.

I get my walnut media off of amazon. The kaytee brand of bird litter is 19.99 for 25 lbs with 4.99 shipping. Last time I ordered 50 lbs and it was under 45.00 shipped to my door. I throw in some dillon polish and they come out like new. It is as cheap as I have found.

Haven't used any of the Lizard Litter yet. What does it run in costs compared to walnut?

Lizard litter is ground up walnut shells. I can't remember what I paid for it. You may be able to go on line at one of the big pet stores and find out. Also others have posted that walnut blast media is close to the same thing. Don
