i have replaced hammer spring with stronger spring

I am having problem getting grips back on my 5906 after replacing hammer spring with stronger spring. What is the best way to get grips back on your help and advise is needed Thanks Tom

using washer in recess where spring sets

It can be tricky sometimes.

I think i can use original spring, Using a small washer for a shem in recess where end of spring sets. This should tighten up spring.
