I have strayed from the fold

"I drive a Chrysler and have two Glocks. both 19s. Now what?"

Cyarno, JK about the Chrysler comment... Kinda what this whole thread is about anyway, right?

I really do like the very positive comments in this thread! I even went to the Glock site to take another look at the models. Then I looked at my bank account. Oh well, no Glock for me any time soon. Still holding out hope that a Redhawk .44 mag will show up at my LGS.

A few months ago I got the Storm Lake conversion barrel for my M&P 40c so I can shoot both .40 cal and 9mm to save some $ at the range. I call it my M&P 409c. It works great.

I owe you one, my friend....:D

Got here as quick as I could. HEY look, over here at the bright, shiney thing. Forget about that old Glock and look at this really nice Taurus.

Now I know how "Utah Carroll" felt. :)

I've been polishing this Glock for about three days straight and I still can't get that mirror shine I like.....dammit, I think this thing is defective.

There was a time in this old fossils life that you couldn't give me anything but a S&W or a Colt, my dad wouldn't shoot anything but a Smith and I guess he passed that down to me. Over the past few years however I have gotten not so hard headed and found that there are a whole lot of real fine guns out there and some of them are plastic. My son bought a Glock a couple of years ago I immediately ordered a DNA test, LOL! Truth be told he can shoot circles around me with that thing, very very accurate and goes bang every time. Congratulations on your new toy...enjoy!!
Oh, by the way, I bought a Ruger P345 a couple of months ago and didn't feel bad about it until Jimmy made fun of me, Oh the shame!!

There are a lot of closet Glock fans. I have a 30,27, and a 19.Everybody needs a 19.I even have 3 Rugers.

Blasphemer!!!

Just kidding -- who can blame you for getting something as reliable as the Glock? They may be ugly, lack character, etc., but they'll go bang every time and keep you and yours safe.

That was quiet a sinful decision....a Glock?

I knew the day would come and I dreaded it. The day I decided to relegate my beloved 27-2 to being a range gun and change my carry gun to something a little lighter and smaller.

I still plan to shoot the 27 frequently at the range and it's going to be the only gun I reload for.

I strayed far.....I found a deal on a Gen 4 Glock 17. Had been looking at a Glock off and on....never considered it seriously until I saw this one.

That said, I'm deeply sorry I have betrayed you all and I hope you will forgive me. :D
