Cruising GunBroker just now I see the Pmags listed weren't getting any attention at $30 each, and most weren't getting bids at $25.

That's a lot different than 2 weeks ago.

I need mags and I don't want to pay $30 each.

I hope they come down in price....but with magpul figuring out what is going to happen I expect there to be an extended shortage. And all the people that stocked up on them will have to pay the bills somehow.

A full time job seems to always pay my bills. No need to sell weapons, ammo or pmags that were bought dirt cheap. Just saying. ;)

Lost Lake: I see a few stores selling them here locally for around $25ish. And they seem to stay in stock for several days. So your guess could very well be true. Or people are tired of looking and always seeing empty shelves, so they never came back to check lol.

I think the run on mags is about at an end. My LGS got in a shipment of MagPul G2 window mags in and it took over a week to sell them at 25 bucks per. I also don't see people willing to pay ridiculous prices online much anymore so they've either bought their fill, finding them locally, receiving their back orders, etc. Whatever the reason, things "seem" be calming down somewhat with regards to mags.

Even the ammo (.22 and .223) is showing up more frequently and taking longer to sell out. I can almost count on seeing some variety of 500 count .22 pack now being in stock now at my LGS. Couldn't do that a month ago.

Wisconsin is way behind you guys then, because the only .22 ammo we have is birdshot. All mags over 10 rounds are sold out for any gun, and I called WalMart to ask when they get their ammo delivered and the lady said they haven't been getting deliveries at all. Which explains why there's none on their shelves around here.

It's good to hear somewhere there is ammo, and even Pmags to be found.

I read somewhere a couple days ago that Magpul was over a million units backordered.... Wow.

Everyone's specific area is going to be different and not the norm for everywhere. It will be awhile longer before the *panic* is over and supply returns to what it was before. While there are some signs that show a positive up tick in things it is by no means a nation wide indicator of how it is for everyone.

Wow...I'm lucky, I have 15 brand new PMAG's courtesy of Uncle Sam. No hand receipt, no problem. I have had difficulty finding mags for my Glock 23 however.

Still no mags in the NW missouri area, but im good on those now...seems to be enough .223/5.56 at places if you know where to look...paying between .35/.45 per rd of decent quality, and the hornady is around but more pricey, as it always was...

Wow, we're still over $1 / round if you can find anything on shelves... :(

The end is near? No way no how, it is going to be nothing but shortages for a few years. Maybe a improvement in 2016 if you know what I am talking about.

SE Pa all types of AR and AK mags are beginning to show up slowly. On LGS has a box of used aluminum AR mags that have been sitting for a while. Gun mags are iffy. Here one day, gone the next and not always for the same guns.

My fav LGS has been out of 45 for 2 weeks and their shipment of 9 came and went on Saturday

We've got some .45 ball on the shelves now, but no 9mm. The .45 is going for $38 /100 and they had a bulk pack for I think $89 / 250. You know the big yellow UMC packs.

I should have bought it, I only have 300 rounds of .45!

I agree. I think it's going to be a wave (rollercoaster ride). The Sporting rifles will drop in price because "new" owners can't find ammo or mags at a reasonable price. Why buy if you can't use it. Then mags & ammo will do the same thing as they become more available. Then Sporting Rifles will climb back up again (not quite as high). It will ride like that and slowly settle back down, depending on how goes what started all this panic in the first place.

Was at my LGS 3 weeks ago and they had Gen3 pmags for $44.95, this week they are $28.95. And they have a pile of them. If you can't find them, send me a PM, I'm sure we can work something out so you can get some mags.

Seems like there is plenty of .40S&W ammo around here though. Not huge bulk quantities mind you, but a lot more then I've seen of 9mm, .223, .308 or .22LR.

Man... I gotta get me one of those .40 guns!

Last I heard the DHS has purchased 1.9 billion rounds of .40 cal ammo, I wonder who they see as terrorists?
