The darn things multiply like rabbits. I picked up my 4" ported PC Shield .45. Liked it so well that I went out and grabbed a FS M&P .45. Yesterday I was cruising the LGS and there were a pair of Shield 9's, an original and a 2.0. I had a gun I have been looking to move, so today with it as a trade, I walked with both Shields for $194 cash. I grabbed some ammo and went to the range to finish making me happy. I can report that both left each target with a large, shredded hole where the center was. While I was courting more deals on S&W's, I managed to add a nice Howa 1500 22-250 as well. Now I need to get the 5904 home.

I might add, one of the mags had a Strike Industries +2 mag extension on it. It's a little long but looks and feels good. I ordered another for the other 7 round mag, but am thinking of going with Mag guts on the other mags.

I too felt that way, I have always been a fan of the 1911, for over 50 years now I've used and carried the 1911, it's been my concealed carry pistol since the very early 80's, I've got literally dozens of each size of 1911, but a bit back I managed to get my hands on a Shield 45, noticed that its not that different from an officers model. Shooting the beast was phenomenal, the accuracy was as good as my 1911's and just as dependable. I now own 7 Shield 45's and the herd is multiplying. Great guns.

Yep, no bad deed goes unpunished. My wife has been gone on a quilting retreat all week, so when she got home, we were sharing all the good deals of the week. Apparently, she got one more good deal as she liked the 2.0 and asked since I picked up two, if that one was hers. Hard to safely say no, so............
