No gun feels as good in my hand as the Browning High Power. The CZ 75 comes close but at the end of the day it is not a BHP. My 6906 doesn't even feel close even though I like the gun. I guess it is a matter of getting your mind right.
Agree 100%
There are a lot of "good feeling" handguns out there like the CZ-75. But the BHP is simply the best
However, as much as I appreciate how good it feels, I acknowledge that how good it feels in my hand has about zip to do with how I actually shoot it, and how it performs when being shot. It is hard to argue with the awkward ribbed, slab-ish, and bulging Glock grip when it just seems to meld to your hand when firing it. The BHP on the other hand is slower on target, slower to return to a sight picture, and snaps upward more. I'm going to go out on a limb and say my hand doesn't know enough about handguns to make a decision for me
My conclusion after years of shooting is that holding handguns at a gun store while languidly pointing them at a wall in an effort to "pick one that feels best in your hand" is poor advice. There is nothing wrong with grip comfort, but for an object that will spend 99.9%!of its life in a safe or in your pants a few inches from your butt! your hand will care little about it's comfort when called upon to actually use the thing. If I had applied the old adage of "buy what fits your hand best"' I'd be lugging around a colt SAA with ivory grips.

. That being said, third gens are very comfortable and "good" feeling guns that happen to perform exceptionally and have great CCW characteristics.
A FBI target and a shot timer will tell you if a gun "fits" you well or not.
But I absolutely love to handle my BHP. It just seems "right" in every aspect. (Except that damn trigger)
