I need a new belt! Heavy duty. Please give suggestions.

Another Bigfoot belt user here. Worn mine everyday for three years and it still looks new. Best belt I ever had!

Looking for a new belt. Last on I had was super thick leather. It’s gone. Looking for a new one. This is for everyday use and concealed carry.
Look at Simply Rugged. Custom leather goods at very good prices. All their stuff is built tough. The name fits.

Here are my 3 favorite belts for carrying guns:
First, on the left, made by Red Nichols to carry the Brill-Persons holster
with my 1911 Colt. It is not very thick, but what he said above is very
true. The belt mated with the proper holster carries the load just fine.
No need for thickness.
2nd from left, was made by Haugen Leather in Bismark, N.D. I probably
wear it more than any other gunbelt. I've had it for about 20 years and
it still performs like new. The holster is a Lawrence Special Agent. The
revolver is model 10 with 2" barrel.
3rd from left, made by Milt Sparks. I've also had this one for about 20
years and it still works. The "dog ear" holster is by Oliver Ball. The
revolver is model 67 Combat Masterpiece with 4" barrel.

Maybe he just likes super thick belts . . .

Point well-taken :-). It does meet the 'cool factor' (Guns & Ammo once did an op-ed on folks picking gear to fit in at pistol ranges).

Nothing wrong with a so-called 'cheap' belt; it's holsters like this that need belts made out of hoop iron, in the Alfonso tradition:

Notice how it is VERY top heavy because the slots are well below the cylinder, and now also imagine it with a short barrel. 'Good' belts are a con, by holster makers who don't design their products ideally. I make a 'good' gunbelt because consumers won't buy it for its engineering; that is, I make it thick and stiff only for that reason, not because it improves the belt in any way.
