Okay, I currently own an M&P 9c & .45 FS.
Now I find myself needing a Pro. Help me out if I'm thinking in the wrong direction.

Here's my rambling thought process,
First I was going to get a 9 4.25" and add an apex trigger. Then why not get the Pro? From what I've read online the Pro trigger is about the same as the Apex?

So if I get the Pro why not a 5".
Debating between the Pro & the Pro CORE. I've never used a co-witness sight, I'm not sure if I'd like it. So far I have not been able to find a LGS that has a CORE let alone one that has a red dot sight mounted.

So, if I want to use a red dot do I go with a CORE or the standard Pro and add a mount like the Mako Universal Picatinny Rail?
I have a Primary Arms Micro for the Mako. A leupold Delta Point for the CORE is almost $400 but makes a much more compact setup.

Thoughts on which direction to go? Am I putting too much thought into this co-witness?

1. The Pro trigger, while better than stock, is not the same as an Apex FSS trigger (I have both)

2. IMO the milled slide is much better than a dovetail mounted reflex.

3. The nice thing about co-witnessed sights is that you're reinforcing iron sight alignment. When I shoot IDPA Enhanced Service Pistol, I take the Deltapoint off my CORE and use the iron sights (no optics allowed in IDPA). The transition is very smooth and I get back on track with the irons very quickly.
