I am thinking about buying some Executioner Elk Grips for my 627, 5"bbl, probably going to want a Tyler TGrip on the front.,..

SO what I am looking to see are some 5" S&W steel with stag grips, would really love to see a pic of a 627 or similar PC gun in stag!!

Thanks
Karl

using the Stags

I assume those of you that shoot the guns you have pictured enjoy shooting them with the stags? They seem to look like a nice balance between smooth combats, and checkered magnas, when combined with a T-Grip. . .

How do they feel when shooting full house 357's or larger, I am really thinking they will look much better than the grips that come on the gun

Product: Model 627 Revolver

Gun also comes with RB finger groove combat wood grips

Anyhoo, I think stags on that gun would be a great melding of old and new styles . . . . am I crazy? Should I just go get another blued Highway Patrolman?

I couldent manage a five inch, but here is a four inch 25-5 with a set of Executioners stags on it.

They look good on their, vulcanic one. I'm a big fan of big fat bullets moving so slow you can outrun them to the target. Shooting with my freinds once my 25-5 had this pleasant "boom" while their hot loaded .357's were blowing flames out the barrel. I got this tuned action one for $271 in presentation case in the mid 90's. It's a favorite. Here it is wearing Kurak's. I like your barrel length better, though.

Here were my formerly owned Model 27 5-inch barrel with Grashorn Gunworks stags, and my old 624 with Grashorn stags

Here's the only 5-inch S&W I own, a model 27-2. The stocks are factory target smoothies, but I'd be hard pressed to tell you what kind of wood it is.

Wow, some nice looking six-guns here! Hey Jeff, those Kuraks look good! I still need a six inch 25, I have a 6 1/2 inch 25-15 but its not the same.
