My now 38 year old Nephew has re-kindled his love for guns, having visited us and did some shooting with an SKS, 12 gauge shotgun and .22 Rossi pump. He went home and bought a Henry .22 Golden Boy and a Rossi 92 .44 Magnum lever rifle. He is pretty well stocked with .22 ammo, but has no .44 Magnum ammo, nor is likely to find some any time soon.

I have offered to load up some .44 Magnum ammo for him, but he needs components, especially .44 Magnum brass. Anyone out there able to turn some loose? I will gladly pay or trade you some .223 or .308 brass....

I have plenty of 240 grain cast lead projectiles I'll load up for him, plus 100 or so jacketed 240 grainers for serious work.

200 or 300 pieces would keep him in business for a while.

Thanks,

Canoeguy

I think I've got a couple hundred I could send you. Let me count it up and I'll let you know.

Edit to add: well, a bit less than 200...160, but that should get you started still. PM me your mailing address and I'll send it out if you cover the postage.

Only round nose and jacketed bullets meant for lever actions will work in his gun. Traditional flat nose, SWC's and WC's won't work in a lever action.

Just order from Starline.
Took about 2 weeks but I got 500 44 Magnum cases and 1,000 357 Mag cases just the other day.
Great service considering all that's going on.
Now, if I could just find replacement primers SPP/SPPM. Probably 5K.

My Rossi R92 feeds LSWC without issue, even the Underwoods.

I'm shooting 200 gr full wadcutters in my Henry 45 Colt, with no problems. They're just plinkers running about 800 fps, for my steel plates, but 5he feed just fine. My 1894 Marlin eats SWC bullets fine too.
