I rescued a Md-17-6 today. With pics

I stopped by a local pawn shop today and found this little beauty sitting there. Someone took the original stocks off and put these finger grooves on that I hate. I had an extra pair of targets laying around. Much better looking I think. I have been wanting one of these for a while now.

Great gun! I have a four and six inch and they are both super. Not a lot of these out there as Smith quickly switched to the 17-7 with aluminum cylinder.

I think I see Millett rear sights on that fine shooter..Doesn't look factory but I could be wrong..Doesn't look like my 617s sight?
Congrats & shoot it alot, That's the beauty of these ammo sippers, Low Ammo Cost..
