Pretty sure we've all heard the various & sundry theories behind the beer virus.

I have it figured out. You heard it here first.

It's the phone companies! That's right. The phone companies.

Last February I decided to ditch my several years old $100/year LG Tracfone for a nice Galaxy android & Verizon. Long story short it didn't work out & I decided to go back but my old phone wasn't supported anymore.

I was without a phone for about 2 months. In addition to feeling cut off from the world, try getting ANYTHING done without a phone right now. "Call us when you get here" is how pretty much everybody is doing business now.

Oh yeah... good news, got a new Tracfone for $25 and it works wonderfully. Bad news... I lost 4K-ish of rolled over minutes and had to manually rebuild my contacts list.

The Comcast bean counters finally figured out that some of us bottom feeders were getting free cell service by keeping the data turned off.
Now you charged for a Gig , $12 whether you use any or not.

I was at the eye dr. today and they asked if I had a cell phone. No. Have a seat.
In a few min. another person came in and same question. Yes. Whats your number. Go wait in your car and we will call when we are ready for you.

Great convenience when ya have a phone. I would MUCH rather kick back in my truck, maybe take a nap, listen to the radio than sit in a waiting room for an hour or so past my appointment time.
