I just got back from picking up the super nice 45-70 Trapdoor from my FFL and I put the payment and FFL info into the mail last Saturday! Bear in mind that this includes last Monday being a postal holiday. Astounding!
Some of this may have been an artifact of geographical proximity, but it is also a result of Bill going out of his way to ship lightning fast after the USPS got the payment to him. The firearm was just as beautiful as his excellent pictures showed and the communication with him makes me now consider him a friend.
