Got the final part to finish it today.

"Today I didn't even have to use my AK
I gotta say it was a good day."

The way it was when I picked it up at my FFL.

other than the muzzle device what is the difference between the sbr and my m92 pistol i understand the law but is anything gained other than a stamp honest question because i don't knowView attachment 790642
I can legally have a brace equipped pistol in my vehicle in Michigan because of my CPL. Get caught doing that with an SBR and you're in deep trouble...

I did mass research before buying a AK pistol. Heard many times 12.25" is a sweet spot for 7.62x39, that was one reason. I wanted to be able to use any standard AK handguards. they'll all fit my Draco, not sure about the M92.

As far as stock vs pistol brace...I couldn't bring myself to put a plastic and rubber brace on a gun. I own one pistol brace, and it's a Tailhook Mod 1 which is all aluminum.

Your brace is plastic and rubber, held on by a adapter that slips under the pistol grip.

My stock is thick aluminum with a stainless steel folding mechanism that's mounted to a 1913 rail bolted to the trunnion. I'm in search of someone that can swap out my trunnion and put a honest AK under folder stock on it. Other than that, I guess it's the CooL factor of a SBR. I like them enough that I have 11 of them.

I had this AK-105 built for me a couple of years back by Odd Brothers in Carlisle, PA. It's a 5.45 WBP upper on a Morrisey receiver. Very accurate and handy. Collapsed, it fits nicely in an M60 machine-gun spare barrel bag.
