Still having some feed issues, so I thought i would try to clean beyond field stripping. I tried to push the pin out that holds the trigger assy in. It went a bit and stopped, so i decided to give up. I cant get it back in... looks like there is a groove that a spring fits in, and that is dragging the spring and not allowing it to slide back in.............now I have to either figure it out or just send it in....dangnabit

my guess is that its probably a fairly simple procedure for one who knows, local gun store or gun smith

Check out YouTube. There are tons of Glock assembly/disassembly videos there. There are probably some on the Sigma as well.

Yes, many videos on Youtube about Sigmas. Most of them deal with questionable ways to lighten trigger pulls.

jim8115, you need a slave pin on the opposite side to keep everything lined up when reinstalling the trigger pin. try a small drill bit or finish nail if you don't have a punch. for me, it required some patience, but i got it.

What about the spring in the middle? Is is supposed to be in that groove? If so, it looks like pushing the pin back in is going to put it in a bind? I appears that the groove will not be centered when the pin is back inn place, but to the far left, so far as to not be visible from the top

I think the slide lock or the spring for the slide lock rides in that groove.

Guess you have two choices, push that pin all the way out to complete your cleaning, or try to wiggle it back in.

If you take it all the way out make a slave pin out of a nail or similar, just long enough to reassemble the trigger parts outside the gun and allow the assembled parts to slip back into the gun, then push the slave pin out with the original pin.

Got it back in

Took some wiggling and a LOT of pressure... It seems ok, I will have to test fire it tomorrow,,,,,,,,I still dont understand what fits in the groove in the trigger pin, or how, if something is in that groove, it is able to be removed anyway

The trigger return spring fits in the trigger pin groove, it will be offset to the left side. The slide stop lever assembly rides the same pin.As mentioned before a slave pin is the way to go, I've had good results using a pointed end bamboo skewer-doesn't hurt the plastic.

I went ahead and sent it in to be repaired, before I do anymore damage....even after getting the pin back in, it is not feeding reliably

I was having a similar issue, believe I posted about it. That pin was working its way out of my sigma, What happened was (at least as I was told) it was inserted backwards and at the wrong temp from factory.. I took it to my local GS were I bought it and had it serviced under their warranty. If that comes out mid shoot, your gun is in some trouble friend. Good call on having it serviced, I don't claim to be a Gunsmith or know anything beyond the regular field strip. Would like to learn more tho, but nothing beats having someone more knowledgeable then yourself working on something as dangerous as a firearm

Yep, I sent it in on the 22nd, I emailed them yesterday, and they said it should be back out in a couple of days......

Got it back!

Got my Sigma back from LSG ( S&W Warrant center) Invoice says replace extractor and adjust trigger ( I complained about the trigger since they were working on it anyway). What a difference, not sure what he did, but the difference is almost like shooting a revolver SA vs DA... I shot 150 rounds, mixed store bought and my reloads. Only prob was light strikes with Monarch ammo. But I have never had any luck with that stuff in any gun, so as long as everything else fires, I dont care. Ill take it back out later and fire another couple hundred and verify all is well. The lighter, smoother trigger really helped. Before, my wife could not even fire it, now she can empty a clip with no problem.....
