I think I purchased an expensive paperweight

I just called Lynchburg Arms (434) 525-2604. If you use their indoor range, they will sell you a box of 50 rounds for $19.99

You're welcome.

Congrats on your first handgun.

Be aware that you cannot mail ammunition through the USPO. It has to be sent by common carrier, like UPS or FedEx.

We Americans are used to just stopping "at the store" and buying whatever we want and/or need just as we go to use it. When demand for any commodity (like ammo) suddenly rises, it does take supply a while to catch up. It does.

I don't know how to enlarge your avatar photo. Is that a '62?

And its a great idea to make sure the package is signed for by some one that is of age.

s1mp13m4n: I feel your pain between my dad being sick and the lack of ammo i have not been able to shoot my Glock 17 9mm either.

9mm.... that reminds me.... I got some work to do.

Heck ya can't even buy these Win 3660 boxes from Dillon anymore. This is my last box... :( They sell bags of 100ea

Rough time for guys entering the world of guns.

Be patient..this too shall pass. Ammo will become readily available again, when it does try to pick up a couple of boxes every pay day and stockpile some. As mentioned earlier take this time to learn the ins and outs of your new firearm, clean it, take it apart, put it back together. As for not liking #9 you have my sympathy...to me one of the finer things in life to sniff!!

FrogLube is good stuff. And if they are getting 9mm in NY..hey it cann't be to far away.

hey Phil..
is that some kind of tax stamp on some of those boxes?
just wonderin'

s1mp13m4n

ifin you was closer, i'd throw a box at ya

Here ya go... :D

Hi:
The current ammo shortage will pass as it did in 2008.
The thoughts of "Yesteryear" was stay with popular calibers as .22lr, 9mm, .38spl. 45acp as everyone stocks these calibers and these will ALWAYS plentyful. Guess which the first calibers that became difficult to locate ?? Not my favorite caliber, but .40 S&W seems to be less difficult to locate than the others.

Not out here. Heck I can't find 9x18 ultra. You would think such a strange caliber wouldn't be out of stock but it is. You just have to find a way to adapt and be sure in the future it doesn't happen to you again.

I picked up a bunch of freedom munitions off another board and a lot more wwb off armslist for relatively good prices for the time being. You just have to look for the a good deal and be ready to buy it as soon as it shows up.

As for the #9 I liked it until I cleaned my fs on my bed. Now my room smells like it all the time and its gotten very annoying. Have to leave the window to air it out tonight
