I run over green tree frogs frogs every morning on the driveway, they are real slimy when fresh but when they dry out they smell and lock up the gun. I do not care for the Frog Lube.

Try out Frog Lube. Works great,no chemical smells,has a Food Grade Rating (safe around pets & kids),Polymer safe. I switched a couple years back and never looked back. I use it on all my weapons.

As for any ammo,that's a tough one at best. It is getting better around here since they put limits on how many.

As mentioned, check your range, mine sell 9s at about $16/box of 50, branded with their name on it. How's that? :D
 
It's a little ways away from you but try Town Police Supply in Richmond or Collinsville. I don't know if they sell to civilians or not but, if they do and have 9mm, they might ship it to you. Both locations have 800 numbers so it's just a matter of a phone call. I tried gunbot to see what's online but 9mm is running about .80 per round online.

I wish you were a little closer, 165 mile west of me, it would make the drive worth it. I could spare a couple hundred rounds for a friend in need.

I love the smell of Good Ol' #9
However it makes me sick :(
Fortunately Remington Bore Cleaner works GREAT and has very little or no odor :)

Heck ya can't even buy these Win 3660 boxes from Dillon anymore. This is my last box... :( They sell bags of 100ea :rolleyes:

Be patient..this too shall pass. Ammo will become readily available again, when it does try to pick up a couple of boxes every pay day and stockpile some. As mentioned earlier take this time to learn the ins and outs of your new firearm, clean it, take it apart, put it back together. As for not liking #9 you have my sympathy...to me one of the finer things in life to sniff!!
 
FrogLube is good stuff. And if they are getting 9mm in NY..hey it cann't be to far away.

Not out here. Heck I can't find 9x18 ultra. You would think such a strange caliber wouldn't be out of stock but it is. You just have to find a way to adapt and be sure in the future it doesn't happen to you again.
 
I picked up a bunch of freedom munitions off another board and a lot more wwb off armslist for relatively good prices for the time being. You just have to look for the a good deal and be ready to buy it as soon as it shows up.

As for the #9 I liked it until I cleaned my fs on my bed. Now my room smells like it all the time and its gotten very annoying. Have to leave the window to air it out tonight
