Just wanted to let u gurus know. I took my late grandfathers model 66 no dash out on the 2nd year anniversary of his passing. After pulling the trigger and watching that coke can fly high. I looked up for a moment, just knowing my grandfather was looking down and smiling. This thing lives in a case inside the safe and never sees the light of day. Except for this one particular day every year. But to be honest, i think its starting to grow on me. I've enjoyed pulling the trigger on it these few times. That i just may start pulling the trigger on it more often. After all, this weapon went on duty with my grandfather from the beginning to the end. I'm sure he would much rather see it being used than sitting here in the safe.

Mods please move to the 1961-1980 sub forum. Sorry i posted in the wrong one and now it doesnt let me delete it. Thank you

I hope my kids feel the same way about my revolvers. They just have so much more soul than semi autos. As it is I had no plastic guns so they won't be getting any of those.
