I prefer handguns from the big 3 as I call them, Ruger, Colt and S&W. Each gun manufacturer offers something different. Nothing wrong with branching out to other manufacturers.
No one does nickel finish like Colt and S&W nobody. My colt 1911 gov model in nickel is priceless. Have you looked at a S&W nickel N frame lately?
The Ruger seems to be one of the strongest revolvers.
