I was told I need to talk about and address this

Bro as many have offered I am here for you. Shoot me an IM or e-mail. The VA has helped me as well. Do not feel small or in any bad way at all by talking to people or taking meds. Some really good advice in this thread. We all share our hearts and love for you.

If you did the best you could, feel no blame. The M60 was a ***. In Training Group we shot Mag 58s and I could not understand why the US went with or stayed with the M60s.

Don't go blaming youself. War is Hell and Combat is a ************.
The last M60 my team had, we call contact on extraction and I left a thermite grenade on the opened feed tray, combat loss.

Again, if you can't handle it and continue to blame yourself, go see the VA and talk with a counselor who is a Combat Vet.

Sir;

I would like to introduce you to my Grandson, Connor.
If you will notice the smile on this young mans' face, it is because of the safe & comfortable lifestyle and the freedoms that you and so many others have provided.

Now look again. Look at those eyes. Look at that smile. And know that YOU played a part in this childs' future.

I hope and trust that you shall find the peace and comfort that has eluded you.

Thank you, sir and welcome home.

You are not alone, bro.
This is as good a place as any to begin to address these kinds of issues.
Many here understand where you are comin' from.
You and folks like you are in the thoughts and sensibilities of we grateful citizens.
