In November of 2011 I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. I had the cancer surgically removed and 4 lymph nodes were involved. I underwent chemotherapy every 2 weeks for six months. I finished May 28th, 2012. Later in 2012, I had cataract surgery and hernia surgery. Last fall I was declared "cancer free" after tests. About 3 weeks ago at one of my rechecks it was discovered my cancer has returned and spread. I have tumors on my liver, spleen, belly and groin. I had my first (this year) chemo treatment today. The prognosis is I have "chronic cancer". I can hope for long periods of remission, but it will keep returning. I could possibly live years. I feel pretty good (for 67 years old) right now. At this time money is not an issue. I spent $12,000 out of pocket last year for all medical, vision and dental. I would rather spend it on guns, real estate, etc, but I will be OK for the time being.

If you would take a moment and say a prayer for me, for cancer research, and if you have the time, the victims of the terror in Boston I would appreciate it.
