Sometimes, tough times call for stress-relieving humor. When I was in the hospital following craniotomy brain surgery (yes, medical proof that I have a brain), my wife and sister were visiting me in the ICU. I was unconscious at the time as the picture shows. My wife looked at me with the wrap taped around my head, looked at my sister, and said, "Every time I look at him, I see Chim Chim from Speed Racer." After much time filled with stress, they took a little time to smile and laugh instead of just worrying. Being unconscious, I didn't get the joke at that moment, but I sure was blessed to have loving family spend so much time with me. My sense of humor survived.

Paul, I wish folks here could talk to you to find out what a perpetually cheerful and witty guy you are to which I can testify from our gazillion chin wags.

My current predicament has been gaining speed since December. Through it all, like you, I have never lost my faith in His promise, my cheerful demeanor, humor or wit.

I spread those everywhere I go. I want my lasting legacy to be "he was a happy guy".
