Just got an old H&R top break 22. Has two patent numbers on outside of cylinder. Has serial number of 5865xx on front strap of grip. One piece wood checkered grips. Left side of barrel says H&R "22 SPECIAL". Top of barrel says Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. Worchester, Mass. U.S.A. Right side says 22 Long Rifle CTG. It is a 9 shot revolver. Want to know if there is a model number for this gun and when it was manufactured. Also need to know approx. value. Can anyone help. I have looked everywhere I can think of on the net. So far I can only guess that it was made somewhere between 1932 and 1938. The front sight is gold plated not brass.

That's what it is, a .22 Special large frame. Post 1932 they used a 1 piece stock. They came in .22lr and .22wrf.
I'd just research it as 'H&R .22 Special'
