.32 CAL

3.5 INCH BARREL

FIXED SITE, STRAIN SCREW ON FRONT GRIP STRAP, 5 SCREWS
 
Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! It's a .32 Double Action, 4th Model. They were made from 1883-1909 with yours being somewhere around the early years likely 1885-6. S&W made 239,600 of the 4th model over that time frame. It is an antique and we like pictures ;).

Mine was refinished shortly before I bought it for Cowboy Action Shooting pocket pistol side matches. I paid $200 for my 4th Model shooter. SN: 58209.
