If you bought a new S&W recently and love it... tell us!

Daaaamn, great thread!! Who'd have thought there were so many guns sold by S&W and so many happy customers!!! :D

I don't think I can list evrything I bought in the last 2 years, but I'll try a few.. I won't include all the used one either....unless IL's..

edit.... Oh ya, I almost forgot.. I love em all!!! I don't shoot them all, shoot some alot, but I sure do like to open the vault and gaaaaze... dream of a time when I can just play like a kid on the last day of school.. does anyone remember what it felt like when we were kids, on the way home on that warm summer day knowing that we had the whole summer ahead to play in the woods and fields.. baseball at the park, hide and seek at night, catchiing lightning bugs and nightcrawlers.... that's how I feel about my guns now!!

I bought one in the last couple of months, it's a S&W M&P45, I'm not sure why I finally bought a bottom feeder, I just got that wild hair. So far it working very well and feeding every hand load I can throw at it flawlessly.

I bought a 637 last year for my wife to replace her 36 3" for carry. Had some trigger work done to lessen double action trigger pull. Light, accurate and dependable though a little snappy with +P rounds. If this revolver wasn't everything it is supposed to be, I would never trust her life to it. What does that tell you?

2011: M442 & M37 3"
2012: M60-18 5"

i`m trying to justify the purchase of a M640 Pro, those melted nite sights are calling my name.

I don't know about the Guns Anonymous Program but you may need one! :D

And yes, I remember that feeling well. Looking back, there weren't nearly enough years like that. :)

29, Mike.... I know, I do have an addictive personality, tending to get quite passionate with whatever I'm in to. Heck, there's a lot more than that in used guns, rifles and shotguns...

I'm really glad to see this post as well! I have been wanting a 625 for a while now and haven't found anything local at a decent price and been considering new. :)

Picked up two in the last two weeks. 632 Pro is a pure joy to shoot w/ 32H&R Mag ammo. Also got a 15-9 Ed McGivern w/ case color frame. Absolutely gorgeous gun! Shot 200 rds thru it yesterday. Fantastic gun. Stacks bullets, great trigger & love the gold bead front sight. Think I'll be replacing the black ramp on the 632 w/ a gold bead in near future.

Guns

I added a Governor to my Smitty Collection of a 642 and the M&P 45. The Guv was a great buy, shoots with very low recoil and eats my reloads like candy. Extremely Accurate especially using .45ACP. Great Guns!!.

Last new Smith I purchased was a 640Pro. Factory adjustable night sights, no lock, slicked up trigger by PC, and 357 w or wo moon clips.

Great balance and dead on with heavier bullets. In 1970 I became a sworn Peace Officer and always wanted a J frame that shot to point of aim and you could use 38+p or greater loads. I retired from LE in 2006 and after trying numerous Js none ever completely filled the bill.

In 2011 I purchased the 640 Pro as another retirement present. This gun has it all and does it all. POI/POA the same. Night sights and great action without "the Lock"

One of my favorites to carry and to shoot. Even sent a letter to Smith telling them how much I like this 640. Never did that with any other Smith.

Turbo,
You can't get better than that.I do remember that feeling!

22-4,21-4 and 625. All have been excellent guns finish, accuracy and handling. I would not hesitate to buy any new revolver if I had the funds and the desire for it.

I was shooting my 19 and thought, 357 would be a great carry round, so I bought a new 60. Gun locks up tight, fit and build quality are fine. Very pleased with the gun and it compares favorably with my older Smiths. Also picked up some not so new 64's, love 64's, and I am very pleased with them also.Close to 20 years old ( police-tradeins) and going very strong. Smith builds a good product.
