And that is not an overstatement. Everyone should have two - one for home, and one a permanent resident of the range bag. Same for their pistol mag loader.

Wish I needed one, but since we are limited to 10 round magazines it really doesn't take long to load one up the old fashioned way...but at least we get three more rounds than they do in New York!

Agreed. After finding out how much easier an UpLula made loading my M&P9C, I bought a Lula for my AR. It pretty much stays in my range bag unused.

It's a cool device but I've been to shoots with friends where I literally have my mags loaded quicker than they do using this device. It's a dream on my pistols though!

I find that from time to time I have to download mags at 3 gun shoots. This is even better for downloading than loading. And it's great for loading, loose rounds anyway. I usually load from 10rnd stripper clips. When you get arthritis in your hands, you will learn to ignore the reports about how easy it is to load by hand. Lucky them. Their easy ability is temporary.

This ^....unless you are old or have a condition that precludes you from hand loading, which in that case i'm not commenting because I would just get banned.

If you "usually load from 10 round stripper clips", try this trick if you don't use it already. Place the stripper clip in the spoon on the magazine and instead of pushing the rounds into the magazine by hand, push them against the edge of a table or bench. Keep the edge near the base of the cartridges and push gently holding the magazine. This is much easier on the thumb!
