I was trying out new ammo yesterday and had my first issue of hard primers. It was igman 5.56 55gr FMJ. My M&P 15A has run all types of ammo and never had a problem. I can see that the primer is not flush with the head of the case like the primer pocket is to deep? Has any one ran into this with their stock trigger group?

Hoss,

I never heard of Ingman ammo. I did a cursory Google search. It's made in Bosnia. I also see lots of various different forum posts about loose primer pockets, problems firing, quality control issues, etc. I wish I had 1st hand info to share.

Here is a pic of one round that failed to go off. Out of 60 rounds only ten would fire

Looks like a solid strike to me. I will not wast my money on this cheap junk.

Best advice I have ever heard on the interwebz in regards to black rifles......don't skimp on optics, or ammo! Keep your weapon system clean, your BCG lubed (not soaking wet) and move on with your life!
